Adrián is a lawyer with more than 15 years of professional experience, advising clients from Bolivia and abroad, in matters as diverse as Corporate Law, Hydrocarbons, Energy, Contracts with the State, Insurance; Arbitration and Financing Structuring. The focus of their activity is related to dealing with complex cases, with great dedication of time and effort, which require creative and permanent solutions.
- Advisor to a business group in structuring a private issuance of securities abroad, for an amount exceeding USD 120 MM.
- Advisor to the largest real estate project in Bolivia and one of the largest in the region, with an estimated total investment exceeding USD 900 MM.
- Advisor in different transactions of purchases and acquisitions (M&A) of companies and business groups in the financial, energy, insurance, industrial and real estate sectors.
- Legal Representative in Bolivia of a foreign company, belonging to the AECOM group, hired by the Bolivian State to develop the detailed engineering of a hydroelectric plant with an installed capacity of 1000 MW.
- Legal Representative in Bolivia of a foreign company, hired by the State of Bolivia, to analyze the social and economic environmental impacts generated in the national territory by the construction of the Jiuraú and Santo Antonio hydroelectric plants, in the territory of the Federative Republic of Brazil.
- Member of the legal technical team, in charge of negotiating, with the Bolivian Government, the nationalization of the shareholding package of a power generation company.
- Member of the legal team in charge of designing and executing a business purchase and sale project, through a “Management Buy Out” mechanism.
- Advisor of a foreign company in the negotiation, with the State of Bolivia, for the exploitation and industrialization of one of the largest iron reservoirs in the continent (Mutún).
- Advised a business group, responsible for the construction of an international airport, in Bolivia, whose counterpart was the Bolivian State, in a legally conflictive zone due to the presence of different territorial and indigenous jurisdictions.
- Advised a company dedicated to insurance brokerage, in the purchase of another company’s portfolio and consolidation as the second most important insurance broker in the country (contractual, technical-legal and administrative aspects).
- Advised a group of electricity generation companies in the negotiation and subscription of the largest Power Purchase Agreement (PPA) signed in the country, with a global amount exceeding USD 300 MM.
- Advised an international oil services company, in the presentation of queries for its participation in an international public bidding process, for the expansion of hydrocarbon storage capacity and, subsequently, in the preparation and presentation of a technical proposal.
- Advised an electricity distribution company in the preparation, negotiation, subscription and monitoring of an operation contract for a generation component, in an isolated system.
- Advised a regional government in the evaluation of prefeasibility, feasibility and subsequent elaboration of the terms of reference for the hiring of a company for the construction (turnkey) of a thermoelectric generation plant, with an installed capacity exceeding 100MW.
